Episode 64: Joey Garcia

Joey Garcia

Joey Garcia, advice columnist for Sacramento News & Review and Fox 40, is my guest for Episode 60.

Joey and I chat about her coming from Belize to the Unites States; her Jack London-like life that lead to giving advice for SN&R; being asked not once, not twice, but thrice times, based on an editor’s dream, to start writing advice; why turning a deaf ear to the Universe is a bad idea; and why people have always gone to her for guidance.

Be sure to catch Joey Garcia on Fox 40 every 2nd Tuesday and her column in SN&R, seen weekly by over 300,000 readers. She also wrote When Your Heart Breaks, It’s Opening to Love, a collection of “true stories of broken relationships with warm, wise advice that offers unexpected insights and prescriptions for healing.”

Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, she also has a non-profit, Rise Up Belize, that is striving to improve education for children in Belize.

Thanks for stopping by and listening to my conversation with Joey Garcia!
