Episode 6 is here! BOOMTOWN!*
I sit down with Sarah Hawkins, the founder and curator of Menagerie Sacramento. The Menagerie is a mobile, pop-up art show that occurs once a month in Sacramento. On top of curating the “pop-up” art shows, Sarah took the novel idea of not taking a percentage of art sales from the artists. She has a rotating group of artists that you should definitely be checking out, too.
I also challenge Sarah to an “old off”.
Sarah has a second feather in her cap because she’s a photographer-for-hire. To paraphrase The Boss, “This photographer’s for hire, even if it’s just dancin’ in the dark.”
Thanks for stopping by and giving ol’ Episode 6 a-listening to, friend.
P.S. I’m heading off to Mexico City with my girlfriend today. We’ll be returning next Tuesday, so next week’s episode may not be posted until Wednesday instead of the normal Tuesday posting. ¡Viva la Mexico!
